Im Jahr 2012 erfüllte sich Christophe Nambotin seinen Kindheitstraum und wurde Enduro-Weltmeister. In einer erstaunlichen Saison eroberte Nambotin eine Runde vor Schluss die E3-Klasse. Seitdem hat er seine Siegesserie mit einem Doppelsieg in der E3 im Jahr 2013 und in der E1 im Jahr 2014 fortgesetzt.
